Comments from Clients "I was able to use it to show churches where there were opportunities to improve. It was also successful in helping a church to understand better how progressive they were in their theology. This prevented them from making the mistake (in my opinion) of calling a conservative pastor that would have not been good for the congregation. I was able to use the information with a Stephen Ministry group in my home church to show where they needed to rethink how they were reaching people. This led to a new initiative that is proving to be fruitful in reaching people who are hurting. At the same church it helped to reinforce member's perceptions of the shortcomings in a contemporary service and gave leaders the confidence to move forward with changes. In both cases it has led to good discussion among the leaders and helped them to focus more on long term goals and that spiritual development is key to a vibrant and growing body of believers." Earle Wooding "This is a very good assessment tool, particularly if you're able to have Russ Crabtree present the findings verbally. He is a very astute observer, and is able to comment on things about church organizations that a called pastor might not feel comfortable talking about. Russ is very objective, truthful, and worth his weight in gold." Dale Evans |

"It has been my great privilege to work with Russ Crabtree as our consultant in two churches in transition settings as well as in a presbytery-wide survey setting in the Presbyterian Church (USA). His survey work opened our eyes to new realities in fresh ways; his interpretive work is grace-filled as only a person with a pastor's heart could do; he is insightful, wise and caring in his perspectives; his consulting and his surveys provide the firm foundation to move a church successfully through a time of transition and to establish it for new eras of growth and faithfulness."
